She's not Gone
Season 8 of Buffy is coming! Don't go searching through your TV listings, though. This "season" is going to be in the comic book pages only. The best part is that it's being written and supervised by Joss Whedon. I've never read comic books, except for that year that my parents got me a subscription to Transformers, but I might have to check this out.
Warning - if you haven't watched to the end of season 7, just bookmark this link and come back when you're finished. I wouldn't want to ruin anything for you. I'm looking at you, McFlint.

A Velvet Christmas
Here's an idea for anyone who doesn't know what to get me for Christmas. Nothing says "Happy holidays!" like an insanely-expensive 40-year-old test LP.

I suddenly had to change my weekend plans and make an emergency trip to the Outer Banks. Fortunately, it looks like my food will be taken care of when I get down there.
