Like crack for the geeky masses, it's a new Google tool. Google trends lets you see when everybody else has been searching for items. You can compare two against each other, try to understand strange peaks (i.e. what sparked a big uptick in the "loser" searches at the end of last year?), and generally waste a whole lotta time.
Tomorrow I begin blogging from the new condo, which I hope will be a more regular occurance than apartment blogging.
Finally, DailyKos tells you how to contact your telco and let them know how seething mad you are about them selling your calling history. They mention that this is against your terms of your agreemend with the phone company. If anyone knows exactly what this is violating, I'm interested to hear it. It would be good to be armed with that info before bringing it up in my call to them.
